Dave - 3 Stars - I always enjoy movies about that era, as well as my gf. But with all the solid plot development at the beginning the movie turned slow and predictable as it went on. The ending was weak, and the general frustration of women's place in the world took away from the movie.

Lexie - 2.5 Stars - I was so excited by the story and main character of this movie at the beginning--it was interesting, well developed, and leading--then it crashed; I was so disappointed by how fast the plot thinned and became uninteresting and boring--it became another mediocre period drama.
